Product Owner / Agile Business Analyst – Insurance

London – Hybrid

Permanent – Excellent Salary

Looking for a Product Owner / Agile Business Analyst with 5-10 years of experience across a blend of both business and technical skills, together with a thorough understanding of Lloyd’s market underwriting processes. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring their Workbench and other Products deliver maximum business value.

The Role - Purpose

The Product Owner’s initial remit will be focused around the Workbench application, although the scope is expected to widen as the Systems Landscape matures.

The Product Owner will ensure that the application provides an integrated, flexible, and scalable environment to support Underwriting teams and other business functions.

Key interfaces

• Working closely with Underwriting and other functional user teams.
• Collaborating with the project team, including Project/Programme Managers and Business Analysts.
• Primary contact with external vendors and implementation teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the internal expert and primary contact for product-related inquiries.
• Capture, document, and challenge functional and technical requirements with stakeholders.
• Coordinate enhancement priorities across underwriting teams.
• Support users by diagnosing functional issues, determining remediation, and scheduling bug fixes.
• Manage relationships with platform vendors and align with their development roadmaps.
• Engage regularly with third-party vendor teams responsible for product development and integration.
• Assist users in testing and adopting the application.
• Plan adoption of vendor roadmaps to ensure seamless integration and benefits.
• Define and monitor KPIs for product performance and usage.
• Manage permissions and access controls for security.
• Promote product adoption across the business.
• Run Product Working Groups to engage stakeholders and align efforts.
