Job summary

Searchability is seeking a Product Owner in Manchester to bridge clients and the development team, turning business needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria. You will own roadmaps, prioritise backlogs and guide multiple enterprise applications through Agile delivery.

You’ll collaborate with developers, testers and stakeholders, refine backlogs, run stand-ups and demos, and help document features from concept to release in a growing Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar Agile product role.
• Strong experience gathering and analysing business requirements.
• Confident writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience managing and prioritising product backlogs.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with developers, testers and business users.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working with APIs and integration projects.
• Understanding of JSON, CSV or other data formats.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

We're supporting an established technology organisation that develops enterprise software solutions for a diverse client base. Following continued growth, they're looking to add an experienced Product Owner who enjoys working closely with customers, development teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products.

THE ROLE:

As a Product Owner, you'll act as the bridge between clients and the development team, gathering business requirements, defining product roadmaps and ensuring features deliver genuine value. You'll work closely with technical teams to translate business needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria, helping to shape the future direction of multiple enterprise applications.

Alongside managing and prioritising the product backlog, you'll facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, stand-ups and retrospectives.
