Join to apply for the Product Owner role at Allianz UK.

This position involves leading a Scrum team within Allianz Personal or Commercial, managing the full development lifecycle from concept to delivery, evaluating opportunities, and prioritizing tasks through a clear backlog. You will also support the Business Analysis/Scrum team with epic creation, assist Business Owners in solution validation, review epics, user stories, designs, and facilitate business validation testing in collaboration with the Architecture team.

This is a hybrid role with multi-site working options, including two days per month in London. The salary is approximately £50,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and location, complemented by a comprehensive reward package.

About You

• Understanding stakeholder needs and effectively communicating product functionalities, with regular demos of team progress.
• Active participation in PI planning, contributing to the product vision, roadmap, and defining user stories and team objectives.
• Maintaining and prioritizing the backlog as a customer proxy, collaborating with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Business Owners.
• Fostering team engagement, participating in backlog refinement, and aligning efforts across teams.
• Making key decisions on development work, ensuring quality, and managing the backlog for future planning.
• Addressing issues, blockers, and dependencies to keep delivery on track and aligned with company vision.

Essential Skills

• Experience in IT change delivery roles such as business analyst, project analyst, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or project manager.
• Technical understanding of company systems and business processes, with basic Agile methodology knowledge.
• Experience in insurance or financial services, particularly in general insurance claims.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, adaptable to changing technology and processes.
• Self-motivated team player with risk-based decision-making capabilities.
