Job summary

WisdomTree is seeking a Structuring Specialist to join the Product Operations team. The role focuses on overseeing European product operations and driving initiatives for new product launches, regulatory changes, and process improvements.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external counterparties to ensure accurate pricing, NAVs and data across multiple asset classes. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in financial markets and strong project management skills, with hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in financial markets, product operations, fund accounting, portfolio management support or product structuring.
• Deep expertise in ETF, ETN or mutual fund operations, including fund administration, custody and market infrastructure.
• Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced Excel skills with large datasets, pivot tables and financial modelling.
• Experience using Python, VBA or other programming languages to automate processes.
• Experience applying AI tools or workflow automation to improve business processes.
• Broad asset class knowledge across commodities, equities, fixed income, FX or digital assets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Leadership experience in teams is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of WisdomTree's European product range, including monitoring tracking error and pricing accuracy across asset classes.
• Lead project management and business analysis for strategic initiatives such as new product launches and regulatory changes.
• Assist with product design and structuring, establishing scalable operational frameworks with internal teams and external counterparties.
• Manage relationships with investment managers, administrators, custodians and other service providers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive efficiencies via evaluation of processes, automation and vendor management.
• Monitor operational and counterparty risk and implement mitigation strategies.
• Escalate complex issues related to portfolio management, pricing, NAVs, and market data with sound judgement.
• Oversee resolutions for pricing/NAV issues including benchmark data, FX, collateral and tracking error.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Portfolio Management, Research, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Technology and external partners.
• Contribute to evolving operating model through technology and automation to improve scalability and resilience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Product Operations team as a Structuring Specialist. The successful candidate will leverage their experience to join a highly capable team responsible for the operations of approximately $66bn in assets under management across more than 300 Exchange Traded Products, covering a broad range of asset classes including equities, commodities, digital assets, fixed income and FX, and a variety of product structures including physically and synthetically backed ETFs and ETNs. Beyond ensuring our products operate efficiently and accurately, the Product Operations team plays a critical role in designing innovative investment products, supporting new product launches, driving strategic business initiatives and continually improving our operating model through automation, AI-enabled workflows, technology and effective service provider management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining product knowledge, project management and technology to solve complex problems and improve the way we work.

Key Accountabilities and Scope

• Management and oversight of the operations of WisdomTree's European product range, including monitoring tracking error, validating pricing across multiple asset classes, collateral calculations and ensuring accurate market data dissemination.

• Lead project management and business analysis for strategic initiatives including new product launches, product enhancements, regulatory change and operational improvement projects.
• Assist with product design and structuring, establishing new operational frameworks and scalable business processes with both internal teams and external counterparties.
• Manage relationships with key partners including investment managers, administrators, custodians and other service providers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Driving efficiencies in the product complex through evaluation of existing business processes, best practices, automation and/or vendor management
• Monitor operational and counterparty risk across the platform, identifying risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Act as an escalation point for complex operational issues relating to portfolio management, creations/redemptions, pricing, NAVs, collateral and market data, exercising sound judgement and problem-solving skills.

• Oversee and implement resolutions for complex pricing and NAV-related issues, including benchmark data, PCFs, underlying security pricing, FX rates, collateral, accrued income, dividends and tracking error.
• Build strong relationships across Product Development, Portfolio Management, Research, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Technology, as well as external counterparties including administrators, custodians, exchanges, authorized participants and market data providers.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of the team's operating model by leveraging technology and automation to enhance scalability, resilience and operational efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree-level education, ideally in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related subject.
• 7+ years' experience in financial markets, product operations, fund accounting, portfolio management support, trade support or product structuring.
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex financial products and apply quantitative analysis to support operational oversight.
• Deep expertise in ETF, ETN or mutual fund operations, including fund administration, custody, transfer agency, market infrastructure, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Advanced Excel skills, including analysing large datasets, pivot tables, complex formulas and financial modelling.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in managing a team/people, setting objectives and performance evaluations is highly desirable
• Experience using Python, VBA or other programming languages to automate processes or improve operational workflows is highly desirable.
• Experience in applying AI tools or workflow automation to improve business processes is highly desirable.Experience with futures, total return swaps and/or structured products and digital assets is highly desirable.
• Breadth of asset class knowledge across commodities, equities, fixed income, FX or digital assets is desirable.
