Job description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our global Product Marketing team, with responsibility for our Metals portfolio. Working closely with Product Management, Commercial teams, commodity experts and Global Marketing, you will develop and execute go-to-market strategies that connect our products and capabilities with the needs of customers across global metals markets. You will own and evolve product positioning and messaging, lead product launches, create high-impact sales enablement, and help drive customer adoption, retention, market awareness and revenue growth. Deep metals expertise is not essential. What matters is curiosity and a willingness to quickly build an understanding of global commodity markets and become the Product Marketing team's go-to expert for Metals. This is a role for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution: someone equally comfortable shaping a go-to-market strategy, developing a compelling value proposition, partnering with senior stakeholders and turning that strategy into customer-facing campaigns and content.

The Team

You will be part of a dynamic, global Product Marketing team covering the energy and commodities value chain, including oil, gas, power, chemicals, agriculture and metals. We work closely with Product Management, Commercial, Research, commodity experts and Global Marketing to translate market and customer needs into compelling product positioning, successful launches and marketing strategies that support customer and business growth.

Responsibilities and Impact
Positioning and messaging

Develop and continually refine differentiated, value-led positioning, messaging and customer value propositions. Translate complex product capabilities and market intelligence into clear, compelling customer benefits. Tailor messaging to different personas, customer workflows, products, solutions and stages of the buyer journey.

Go-to-market strategy

Develop and lead go-to-market strategies and marketing plans for Metals products, solutions, launches and strategic initiatives. Use customer, market, competitor and commercial insights to identify opportunities and inform product marketing priorities. Partner with Global Marketing and Demand teams to translate GTM strategy into integrated campaigns and programmes that drive awareness, engagement and commercial outcomes.

Product launches

Lead the product marketing workstream for launches and major product initiatives, from audience definition and positioning through to launch execution and post-launch optimisation. Ensure Product, Commercial and Marketing stakeholders are aligned around the customer value proposition, target audiences and routes to market.

Content and sales enablement

Create high-impact customer and sales content, including pitch decks, battlecards, FAQs, product collateral, videos, infographics and campaign assets. Equip Commercial teams with the messaging, knowledge, tools and training they need to confidently articulate product value and respond to customer needs. Translate technical or complex propositions into accessible, commercially compelling stories.

Digital, SEO and AI discoverability

Take ownership of Metals product and pricing webpages from a Product Marketing perspective. Continuously improve digital customer journeys, content and product discovery. Partner with relevant teams to strengthen SEO, GEO and AI-search discoverability, ensuring our products and expertise can be found as customer search behaviours evolve.

Measurement and optimisation

Define success measures and KPIs for product marketing programmes. Analyse campaign, content, adoption and commercial performance to understand what is working and identify opportunities for optimisation. Use data and customer feedback to continually improve messaging and go-to-market execution.

Cross-functional leadership

Build strong partnerships across Product Management, Commercial, Research, commodity experts and Global Marketing. Bring customer and market perspectives into product and commercial conversations. Influence across teams and senior stakeholders to align priorities and deliver shared business objectives.

What’s In It for You

Shape the story of a leading Metals and Energy intelligence business, translating complex markets and products into compelling customer propositions. Build deep expertise in global commodities and metals markets, where changing supply, demand, policy and market dynamics create new challenges every day. Work on strategic projects with colleagues across Product, Commercial, Research and Marketing around the world. Join a collaborative global Product Marketing team with opportunities to learn across the broader energy and commodities value chain. Work at the intersection of markets, data, technology, AI and customer workflows as the way customers discover and consume market intelligence continues to evolve.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Product Marketing, B2B Marketing or a closely related role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling customer stories.
  • Strong understanding of product positioning, value propositions and go-to-market strategy.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop structured plans from customer, market, product and commercial inputs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence across functions and levels.
  • Customer-focused mindset and an ability to understand different personas, needs and workflows.
  • Strong project management, prioritisation and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity, research, content development and marketing effectiveness.
  • Understanding of modern B2B marketing channels and tactics.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Previous metals or commodities experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • We are looking for someone with the curiosity and motivation to rapidly develop deep market knowledge.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong experience in product, solution or portfolio marketing.
  • Experience developing and executing B2B go-to-market strategies and product launches.
  • Experience creating sales enablement programmes and working closely with Commercial teams.
  • Familiarity with commodities, financial markets, market intelligence, data or information services.
  • Understanding of SEO, GEO, AI search and evolving digital discovery behaviours.
  • Experience using customer and performance data to optimise marketing programmes.
  • Vendor and budget management experience.
  • MBA, MSc Marketing or equivalent advanced qualification is advantageous but not required.
The Person We’re Looking For

You are curious, commercially minded and comfortable with complexity. You enjoy learning new markets and technologies, asking questions and turning complex information into simple, compelling stories. You are collaborative but able to take ownership, strategic but willing to get hand-on, and comfortable influencing people across Product, Commercial and Marketing. Most importantly, you consistently bring the conversation back to the customer: what they need, why it matters and how our products can create value for them.
