Job description

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Product function, responsible for delivering the end-to-end omnichannel roadmap across the size? group of brands. You will focus on shaping, developing and delivering the customer experience across web, app and in-store, driving continued growth and strengthening market leadership.

You will be accountable for defining, launching and measuring the impact of new customer-facing capabilities across our ecosystem, ensuring a seamless and commercially optimised journey across all touchpoints. In doing so, you will work at the centre of key technology and platform partnerships, bringing best-in-class experiences to size? customers

You must be adept at identifying opportunities across the full customer funnel, balancing new opportunities with the delivery of existing commitments. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, proactively identifying areas for innovation and driving progress across a broad and complex domain.

You will collaborate closely with product, engineering and design, as well as commercial stakeholders, ensuring priorities are clearly understood, aligned and delivered across teams and leadership.

This role is well suited to a high-potential individual who is motivated to take ownership, move at pace and make a tangible impact, with significant scope to grow and expand their remit over time.

You will also be responsible for managing key partner relationships and associated budgets within your domain, ensuring strong commercial and delivery outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive innovation: Use your experience and wider market knowledge to bring innovative solutions to business problems. Work with our Product Design & Research team to ensure solutions drive JD Group towards a best-in-class omnichannel offering.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate closely with the wider Product team, technical teams, and commercial stakeholders to ensure product features align with business needs, customer expectations, and Group strategy.
  • Execution & delivery: Prioritise and manage the product backlog. Run sprints, manage requirements, refine user stories, ensure technical feasibility, and ensure end-to-end delivery of features on time and to quality.
  • Performance monitoring and experimentation: Use data analytics to assess the value and efficacy of digital features, make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Supplier management: Form strong collaborations with digital suppliers, ensuring JD is at the forefront of innovative releases while operating with robust commercial constructs and efficient spend.
  • Agile leadership: Champion Agile practices within the team, facilitating scrum meetings and ensuring an efficient, iterative development process with clear reporting.
Requirements
  • Proven experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role in a digital or ecommerce environment.
  • Technical proficiency: Strong understanding of ecommerce and retail technologies, in particular Shopify, and experience using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Delivery track record: Proven ability to develop and deliver complex product development goals.
  • Leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, driving collaboration, innovation and delivery.
  • Customer-centric approach: Deep commitment to enhancing customer engagement through innovative digital experiences.
  • Analytical abilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
