Job Overview

The Product Reporting Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all reporting activities within the Product department. This role requires a highly analytical individual with a strong understanding of the automotive industry and the ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive business performance. The Product Reporting Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reports, playing a key role in supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across the Product department.
  • Identify and analyse trends in data to provide insights into business performance, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reports.
  • Automate reporting processes where possible to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Present reports and findings to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Provide support and training to staff on reporting tools and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automotive reporting.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business initiatives and strategies.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking analysis to assess the company's performance against industry rivals.
  • Other ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in a reporting or data analysis role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive industry operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as [e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, CRM systems].
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Specific Experience:

  • Experience with JATO Dynamics for automotive market data and analysis.
  • Experience with MVRIS
  • Experience working with customer data platforms and databases.
  • Experience with NCBS.
  • Proven track record of conducting competitor benchmarking analysis in the automotive industry.
