Job summary

Opencast is seeking a Product Manager to lead strategy and delivery on digital services used by government, healthcare and purpose-driven clients. You’ll balance user needs with business goals, work with cross‑functional teams in agile environments, and guide discovery and prioritisation across the product lifecycle.

The role emphasises in-person collaboration, GOV.UK standards, and stakeholder management across central or local government projects. Travel to client sites in the UK is expected.

Qualifications

• Recent government/public sector experience or delivery of complex digital services meeting GOV.UK standards.
• Developed and gained buy-in for product visions and minimum viable products.
• Used service design tools to map and articulate the wider ecosystems around products.
• Translated product roadmaps into backlogs to prioritise delivery.
• Balanced the needs of senior stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Contributed to constructive and trusting team environments.
• Experience with GOV.UK Service Standards is a key requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead product strategy and delivery across government-facing projects.
