Job summary

Opencast is a growing tech consultancy delivering user-centred solutions for government, healthcare and purpose-driven clients. As a Product Manager, you’ll lead strategy and delivery, balancing user needs with business goals across sectors to create services used by millions of UK citizens.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams in agile environments, delivering discovery workshops and translating roadmaps into backlogs while upholding governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Recent government (public sector) experience and/or delivering digital services that meet Government Digital Service standards.
• Developed and gained buy-in for product visions and minimum viable products.
• Used service design tools to map and articulate the wider ecosystems around products.
• Translated product roadmaps into backlogs to prioritise delivery.
• Balanced the needs of senior stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Contributed to constructive and trusting team environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead product strategy and delivery on client projects in agile teams.
• Develop solutions with technical teams to meet client goals.
• Manage backlogs and decide features across product life cycles.
• Deliver discovery and ideation workshops with diverse stakeholders.
• Ensure work complies with policies, security, and governance.
