Product Manager (IMS/WIMS)
UK, Remote

As a Product Manager serving Linnworks’ community of current and future clients, you will serve as a leader within our Product Management team and business. By taking a research-led approach to validating market problems, you will work to determine the most effective way to deliver complete software, features, and solutions through a mix of buying, building, or partnering to solve the highest and most impactful business needs of our market.

The ideal candidate will be energized by research-led product management in understanding our diverse user-base and their evolving needs. Candidates should value testing, continual learning, and driving outcomes rather than outputs. The candidate should be driven by curiosity and a constant desire to learn. Proven experience in executing within a culture of testing, experimentation, and iterative solutions is essential. The candidate should enjoy collaborating across a creative and cross-functional team. This position reports directly to the VP of Product Management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build a deep understanding of the businesses our market operates in, their goals, and evolving needs.
2. Define and drive the IMS/WMS product roadmap in collaboration with the US PM for IMS/WMS.
3. Regularly present direction, outcomes, solutions, and the rationale behind them.
4. Identify competitive and alternative products in the market.
5. Articulate and prioritize outcomes for problems to enable rapid deployment of appropriate features, working closely with software development teams.
6. Define user personas for your features and products.
7. Provide context to solutions by crafting stories illustrating market problems.
8. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to assess product performance.
9. Collaborate heavily with fellow product management team members on problem-solving, sharing research findings, and solutions.
10. Support strategic product discussions and decisions.
11. Collaborate across departments such as marketing, sales, customer success, and engineering.
12. Contribute to product strategy by identifying opportunities, generating solutions, and enhancing existing features.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in solutioning and shipping high-quality features and software.
• Experience as a research-led Product Manager, understanding how to meet users' needs while delivering innovative solutions.
• Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) required.
• Experience in SaaS eCommerce, supply chain, warehouse, or logistics is strongly preferred.
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to own projects with minimal guidance.
• Thrives in environments with rapid and constant iterations.
• Ability to influence peers and managers and build consensus.
• Ability to work across disciplines effectively.

Note:

• Some travel expected (up to 6 times/year, mainly domestic, focusing on client site visits).
• Flexible work hours required to accommodate collaboration across US, UK, and EU time zones, with primary focus on GMT hours.
