Job summary

Apex is seeking a Product Manager II to own the Investor Communications and documents product within the Ascend Platform. You will be responsible end to end for investor-facing regulated communications, including statements, trade confirmations, tax documents, and proxy materials.

You will manage the backlog, write clear requirements, and coordinate with Engineering and delivery vendors. AI tools (Claude) are core: gathering requirements, prototyping, and building MVPs to move from problem to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of product management experience, with 2+ years on investor/regulated communications.
• Track record shipping features on API-first, event-driven, or microservices-based products.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude) to gather requirements, prototype concepts, and build MVPs.
• Proficiency writing SQL to query and analyze product and delivery data.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product ownership for the Investor Communications product.
• Write PRDs and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with other Product Managers across the Ascend Platform to align standards and timelines.
