Jayfair Recruitment Solutions Limited seeks a commercially focused Product Manager to join its technical marketing team in the Alfreton area. You will manage a product portfolio across its lifecycle, developing strategies and roadmaps, supporting new product development and identifying opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.

You will work with Technical, Development, Sales, Marketing and other functions to ensure products meet customer needs, while driving value engineering, margin

Qualifications

• Experience in product management across manufacturing, utilities, infrastructure or related sectors.
• Proven track record in product strategy, portfolio management and launches.
• Experience across development, customer-facing and commercial functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain product strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Gather customer and market requirements and translate them into product specifications.
• Support new product development projects through the Stage-Gate process, including business case preparation and product launches.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and commercial readiness.
• Monitor product performance, customer feedback, quality trends and competitor activity.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering, cost reduction and margin improvement.
• Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, consultants and industry stakeholders.
• Provide technical and commercial product expertise to support Sales, Marketing and product literature.
• Monitor relevant legislation and industry standards, supporting product compliance and the development of robust product governance processes.
• Liaise with industry bodies including BPF and undertake research into emerging industry developments.
