About
We’re partnering with a growing international group to find a commercially driven UK Product Manager to lead their market entry in the chemicals sector. This is a unique opportunity to introduce a high-quality, high-performance fuel product—trusted across Europe—to key UK industries including chemicals, agriculture, and light machinery. You’ll take charge of building operations from the ground up, developing strategic customer relationships, and laying the foundation for a future UK team. If you're commercially minded, hands-on, and ready to make your mark, this role offers real scope for impact.

The Role

You’ll drive the UK go-to-market strategy, overseeing everything from customer development to supply chain and logistics. Initially, you’ll lead operations directly, becoming the main point of contact for key accounts, with the potential to scale and manage a team as the business grows.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Market Launch & Strategy: Deliver the UK market entry strategy for a specialist fuel product with chemical applications.
  • Supply Chain Operations: Set up and manage warehousing, transport, and logistics.
  • Customer & Commercial Development: Own relationships with large accounts and central purchasing teams; educate customers on product performance, end-use benefits, and sustainability impact; lead contract negotiations covering pricing, delivery terms, and cooperation agreements.
  • Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with global teams (Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Product); define UK team structure and lead recruitment planning as operations grow; foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
  • Sales & Performance Reporting: Track UK performance metrics, revenue, and profitability; lead forecasting and support wider strategic planning with accurate insights.
What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years in B2B sales, key account management, or business development.
  • Experience launching new products or markets, ideally with supply chain exposure.
  • Background in chemicals, fuels, energy, or related technical sectors.
  • Skilled negotiator with strong commercial and logistical understanding.
  • Experience working with SMEs and larger corporate structures.

Attributes

  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and customer-oriented.
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder.
  • Confident navigating international environments and priorities.
Salary, Benefits & Location

Location: UK-based (flexible, with expected travel)

Salary: £70,000–£80,000, depending on experience

Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus

Benefits
  • Pension scheme
  • Private medical insurance
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Flexible working arrangements
