Anthropic is seeking a Product Manager for the Research team to own the ideation and deployment of new models and products as we advance frontier, safe AI technology.

You will collaborate with research teams to productize credible applied research and identify high-potential use cases grounded in customer needs, while thriving in ambiguous environments and uncovering latent opportunities for nascent technologies.

Qualifications

• Have 5+ years in product management, with experience launching new products and scaling existing ones.
• Deep technical background with AI/ML concepts; data-driven; proficient in Python and SQL.
• Strong user empathy and ability to synthesize vague feedback into priorities.
• First-principles thinker; thrive in ambiguity.
• Track record of launching ambitious products with distribution or commercial success.
• Founder background is a plus.
• Willing to work across research and product teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own ideation and deployment of new models and products in Anthropic's Research team.
• Collaborate with research teams to productize applied research and identify high-potential use cases.
• Bridge research and product experimentation to create new AI-enabled product categories.
• Define vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for frontier technologies.
• Partner with research to define, improve, and ship model capabilities within a research area.
• Synthesize user insights into actionable requirements and evaluations.
