Scarlet, a London-based medical technology certification company, is looking for a product lead to own the strategy, roadmap and outcomes for a key area. You will partner with product design, engineering and regulatory experts to translate complex requirements into clear, trustworthy workflows.
You will spend time with customers, prioritise by value, regulatory rigour and technical constraints, and steer decisions with clarity.
We pull medical technology from the future to solve human health. Scarlet is authorised to assess and certify medical devices. We combine clinical, technical and regulatory expertise with AI agents and software so rigorous certification can keep pace with product development at the world’s most ambitious technology companies, without lowering the safety bar. Our customers have cut a year or more from their certification timelines for new AI-enabled medical devices and shortened product-update cycles from months to weeks. You’ll join a team building the infrastructure that makes these outcomes repeatable at scale.
Own the strategy, roadmap and outcomes for a product area, from discovery and definition through launch, adoption and iteration. Partner closely with product design, engineering and regulatory experts to turn complex requirements into clear, trustworthy workflows. Spend time with customers and internal users to understand their work, observe friction and distinguish underlying problems from requested features. Prioritise across customer value, regulatory rigour, operational efficiency, technical constraints and Scarlet’s company goals. Keep the team aligned on the problem, the intended outcome and the trade-offs behind each decision. Communicate product direction, decisions, progress and learning clearly across Scarlet. Help improve how Scarlet practises product management as the team grows.
Evidence of owning and shipping complex products from discovery through delivery and iteration. Strong product judgement, including examples of difficult prioritisation choices made under real constraints. Enough technical fluency to work effectively with engineers on systems, data, APIs and the trade-offs of AI-enabled products. Clear, precise written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain complex decisions to different audiences. Comfort working in ambiguity, taking responsibility and updating your view when new evidence appears. High standards for product quality, reliability and trust.
Compensation Range: £70K - £100K
