Job summary

Scarlet is on a mission to accelerate medical device certification through user-centered design. As a product designer, you will shape products that translate complex regulation into fast, clear, and trustworthy experiences for medical technology companies and their regulatory teams.

You will collaborate with product, engineering and regulatory experts, and engage directly with customers to understand their work and test what we build.

Responsibilities

• Design for both sides of Scarlet's service: medical technology companies bringing devices to market, and the regulatory teams assessing them.
• Improve the products users rely on today and shape new ones as Scarlet grows.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and regulatory experts, and work directly with customers to understand their work.
• Test what we build and iteratively refine the user experiences.

We pull medical technology from the future to solve human health.

Scarlet is authorised to assess and certify medical devices. We combine clinical, technical and regulatory expertise with AI agents and software so rigorous certification can keep pace with product development at the world's most ambitious technology companies, without lowering the safety bar.

Our customers have cut a year or more from their certification timelines for new AI-enabled medical devices and shortened product-update cycles from months to weeks. You'll join a team building the infrastructure that makes these outcomes repeatable at scale.

You'll design for both sides of Scarlet's service: medical technology companies bringing devices to market, and the regulatory teams assessing them. You'll improve the products they use today and shape new ones as Scarlet grows.
