Job Description:

Are you looking for a role where you can shape impactful products from the ground up and see your ideas come to life?

We’re looking for an ambitious and driven Product Manager to lead the end-to-end journey of our products — from that first spark of an idea to delivering high-impact solutions. In this role, you’ll shape and execute the product strategy that powers multiple customer experiences across our platform. You'll work closely with talented teams in engineering, design, and the wider business to bring bold ideas to life and deliver meaningful results at scale.

This is an exciting opportunity role for a high-performing, technically fluent, and results-oriented product leader who thrives in complex systems, takes full ownership, and excels at driving clarity and execution across teams.

About Us:

Transport Exchange Group, established 25 years ago, is a rapidly growing B2B software (SaaS) company dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions for the logistics and transportation industry. With ongoing investment in new products, we offer the excitement and innovation of a start-up coupled with the stability and benefits of an established business. We have presence in the UK, India and Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

Product Discovery:

  • Develop a deep understanding of user needs, business goals, and market dynamics
  • Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to uncover insights
  • Participate in wireframing and prototyping as a key input into product requirements

Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

  • Lead definition, scoping, and execution of complex features or new product lines
  • Ensure product requirements are clear, testable, and aligned with business goals
  • Drive alignment with multiple teams to ensure platform capabilities scale efficiently across customer experiences
  • Drive prioritisation and decision-making to overcome roadblocks
  • Collaborate with QA, design, and developers to ensure successful releases
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives)

Execution and Measurement:

  • Monitor product performance, usage and feedback post-launch; use insights to iterate
  • Own metrics and outcomes across multiple products and continuously evolve the platform/product area based on performance and learnings

Skills and Experience Required:

Technical Expertise:

  • Ability to write clear technical documentation and interface specifications
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Some understanding of UX principles and technical constraints
  • Some understanding of APIs, backend systems, and service-oriented architecture
  • Comfortable with to use or learn tools like Jira, Confluence, Sisense, Tableau, Figma, Productboard, Miro and more
  • Willingness to learn and implement AI-enabled product management tools is a plus
  • Marketplace product experience is a plus

Business Expertise:

  • Exceptional problem-solving ability with a bias for action and results
  • Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Operates independently with minimal oversight and takes full accountability
  • Empathy for users and ability to translate user pain points into product features
  • Ability to prioritise under ambiguity
  • Excellent storytelling - can simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences
