Job summary

HID Global in Cardiff, UK, is seeking a Product Manager for Desktop Authentication RFID Readers. You will own the product lifecycle, define strategy, and develop a comprehensive roadmap with KPIs.

Collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations will be essential to deliver market-ready solutions. You will drive platform reuse across HID's IDT and PACS portfolios, identify market opportunities, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a product manager or product owner in software/firmware/hardware.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or EE; related field accepted.
• Lead teams through product development and introduction cycles.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life for Desktop RFID readers.
• Define strategy, roadmap, KPIs, and business case; drive profitability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
• Leverage market trends and customer insights to shape roadmap.
• Align with SAFe processes and conduct PI planning for priorities.
