Job summary

BP PLC is seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, adoption, and scaling of Data & AI products across the portfolio. You will define product roadmaps, work with engineering, data science, and business partners to deliver reusable AI-enabled capabilities, and drive value through data-driven decision making.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, design thinking, and technical understanding to navigate complex data ecosystems and diverse business needs within BP's Supply,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in product management, ideally within data, AI/ML, analytics, digital products, or complex technical platforms.
• Proven partner management experience, including engagement with senior business leaders.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery and experience managing backlogs, roadmaps, dependencies, and iterative releases.
• Familiarity with modern data, analytics, and AI concepts, including responsible AI and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy across the Data & AI portfolio, linking outcomes to ST&S organisational goals.
• Develop strong insight into user difficulties, workflows, and journeys across relevant business teams.
• Translate business needs into strategic product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with portfolio and business priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to shape scalable, secure, and reusable solutions across data platforms, analytics, AI models, and user-facing products.
• Shape ways of working across cross-functional teams, improving delivery flow, communication, and shared accountability.
