You’ll also work directly with customers, partners and internal stakeholders to validate propositions and ensure they are commercially viable, operationally scalable and aligned with ClearBank’s risk and regulatory requirements.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute product roadmaps in partnership with the Head of Product, translating strategic objectives into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
Own product initiatives across the full lifecycle, from customer discovery and business case development through design, delivery, pilot, launch and ongoing optimisation.
Develop and enhance ClearBank’s cross-border payment propositions, including international payment corridors, payment providers, payment networks and new payment rails.
Help develop ClearBank’s Digital Assets proposition, including stablecoin payments, minting and redemption, fiat/stablecoin interoperability, custody and tokenisation-related opportunities.
Evaluate how traditional correspondent banking, payment networks and blockchain-based rails can be used individually or together to improve international payment propositions.
Work closely with Engineering, Architecture and Business Analysis teams to translate customer and business problems into clearly defined product and technology requirements.
Lead product discovery with existing and prospective clients to understand customer pain points, underlying use cases and future requirements.
Evaluate potential banking, payment and digital asset partners, considering product capability, coverage, commercial model, technology integration and customer proposition.
Build business cases and support product-level commercial management, including pricing, volumes, costs, revenue opportunities and product economics.
Work closely with Treasury, Operations, Financial Crime, Compliance, Legal and Risk teams to ensure new propositions can operate safely and effectively within ClearBank’s risk appetite and regulatory obligations.
Develop appropriate operating models and ensure operational processes, controls and customer journeys are ready ahead of product launch.
Core Skills and Experience

Good understanding of cross-border payments, including correspondent banking, international payment flows and the challenges associated with moving money across currencies and jurisdictions.
Experience taking complex financial products from discovery through delivery and launch.
Demonstrable experience working with Engineering teams in an Agile product environment.
Strong customer‑discovery skills, with the ability to turn customer problems and use cases into clear product requirements and priorities.
