Job Description:

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing a complex product portfolio with niche customer base, focusing on coding, multiplexing, and packaging services for broadcast customers.
  • Owning the product plan, pricing strategy, development budget, product P&L, and roadmap, including establishing and monitoring milestones.
  • Developing relationships with decision makers and subject matter experts within the Media & Broadcast industry.
  • Participating in travel to trade shows and UK-based customer visits.
  • Supporting Sales and Technical Consultants in responding to bid requests and RFPs.
  • Managing key suppliers, performance metrics, and cost controls.
  • Owning the business case for new developments and the P&L for existing products and solutions.

Experience/Skills needed to be successful in the role:

  • Broadcast/Media industry expertise – experience with a leading Media & Broadcast provider or manufacturer.
  • Product management – experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of new market launches and existing product portfolios.
  • Commercial acumen – strong financial literacy, business case development, pricing strategy, and vendor negotiations.
  • Technical understanding – of video compression, coding, multiplexing, and streaming technologies, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
  • Stakeholder management – ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including external suppliers and internal senior leadership.
