Job summary

Visum Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Product Manager to ensure our product offering meets market and project requirements, remains competitively priced, and supported by accurate technical and commercial information.

You will work with engineering, sales and procurement to advise on specifications, pricing, availability and suitable alternatives, driving improvements and range additions.

Qualifications

• Experience in product management, product development or similar technical role.
• Background in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Services preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and explain product options clearly.
• Commercial understanding of costs, selling prices and margins.
• Strong organisation and record keeping; able to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across teams.

Responsibilities

• Providing reports on status and prognosis, as required by line manager and senior leadership team
• Work with the Senior Product Manager to take ownership of product and supplier workstreams, coordinating the necessary information and internal input, making recommendations and progressing actions through to completion.
• Supporting pricing decisions to maintain and improve margin, positioning and commercial strategy.
• Maintain accurate product information including specifications, supplier references, pricing, lead times, technical literature and relevant certification approval.
