Job summary

Microlise is seeking a Product Manager - Analytics & Data Products to shape the vision, roadmap and commercial success of our analytics portfolio. You’ll work with customers, Engineering, Data and commercial teams to turn complex data into products that improve customer outcomes and create value.

You’ll explore AI-enabled capabilities, define roadmaps and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to drive adoption and measurable impact.

Job description

At Microlise, we're passionate about using technology and data to solve real-world challenges for our customers. We're looking for a Product Manager - Analytics & Data Products to shape the vision, roadmap and commercial success of our growing analytics and data portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Product, you'll work with customers, Engineering, Data and commercial teams to shape the strategy and roadmap for reporting, dashboards, analytics and data services – turning complex data into products that improve customer outcomes and create commercial value.

You'll also help identify where AI and machine learning could enhance customer experiences, automate workflows and unlock new insights. If you're a hands-on Product Manager who combines customer curiosity, commercial thinking and a strong understanding of analytics and data products, this could be a great opportunity to make a real impact.

What you'll be doing

• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for analytics, data products and relevant applications of AI.
• Identify market opportunities through customer research, industry trends and competitor analysis.
• Own products and services covering reporting, dashboards, analytics and data services.
• Develop business cases and prioritise investment based on customer value and commercial return.
• Work with customers to understand their reporting, integration and decision-support requirements.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and machine learning to real customer challenges, ensuring new capabilities deliver measurable value.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, UX and Data teams to translate strategy into deliverable outcomes.
• Prioritise product backlogs based on customer value, business objectives and technical considerations.
• Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to support product launches, adoption and customer engagement.
• Define product KPIs, use customer and usage insights to guide decisions, and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• At least 3–5 years' experience as a Product Manager.
• A strong understanding of analytics, reporting and data-driven products.
• Experience developing product strategy and turning it into clear, executable roadmaps.
• A hands-on approach and experience working closely with Product Owners and Agile software development teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging customers and senior leaders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the commercial awareness to balance customer needs and business objectives.
• Experience supporting go-to-market activity and working with Sales or Pre-Sales teams.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, AWS services or cloud-native architectures (desirable).
• Knowledge of AI-enabled products, data platforms, APIs, integration, governance or data quality (desirable).
• Experience within telematics, logistics, fleet management or IoT environments (desirable).
