Job summary

Microlise is seeking a Product Manager – Analytics & Data Products to shape the vision and roadmap for analytics and AI-enabled offerings. You will work with customers and engineering, data and commercial teams to transform complex data into practical products that drive customer outcomes and commercial value.

Reporting to the Head of Product, you will translate strategy into deliverables, collaborate across teams, and support product launches and adoption.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of analytics, reporting and data-driven products.
  • Experience developing product strategy and executable roadmaps.
  • Hands-on approach with Product Owners and Agile development teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management, engaging customers and senior leaders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with business awareness.
  • Experience supporting go-to-market activity with Sales/Pre-Sales.
  • Desirable: cloud platforms (AWS) and cloud-native architectures.
  • Desirable: AI-enabled products, data platforms, APIs, integration, governance or data quality.
  • Desirable: experience in telematics, logistics, fleet management or IoT.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for analytics, data products and AI applications.
  • Identify market opportunities through customer research, trends and competitor analysis.
  • Own products and services covering reporting, dashboards, analytics and data services.
  • Develop business cases and prioritise investments based on customer value and commercial return.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand reporting, integration and decision-support needs.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI/ ML to real customer challenges with measurable value.
  • Work with Product Owners, Engineering, UX and Data teams to translate strategy into deliverables.
  • Prioritise product backlogs based on customer value and technical considerations.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Success and Marketing on launches and adoption.
  • Define product KPIs and drive continuous portfolio improvement.

Salary: £20,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements
  • At least 35 years experience as a Product Manager.
  • Strong understanding of analytics, reporting and data-driven products.
  • Experience developing product strategy and turning it into clear, executable roadmaps.
  • Hands‑on approach and experience working closely with Product Owners and Agile software development teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging customers and senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the commercial awareness to balance customer needs and business objectives.
  • Experience supporting go‑to‑market activity and working with Sales or Pre‑Sales teams.
  • Desirable: Experience with cloud‑based platforms, AWS services or cloud‑native architectures.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of AI‑enabled products, data platforms, APIs, integration, governance or data quality.
  • Desirable: Experience within telematics, logistics, fleet management or IoT environments.
