Job description

About Webexpenses

Webexpenses' mission is to pioneer intelligent and effortless spend management, so we can create a world free of financial admin. We work across five domains: Expense Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Contract Management, and Cash Flow Management. Expense Management is our established foundation, and the other four represent the horizon our product organisation is building towards.

The Role

As a Product Manager, you'll take end-to-end ownership of substantial parts of our Spend Management products. You'll work closely with engineering, design, sales and customer success to define product vision and roadmap, understand market trends, gather and prioritise customer requirements, and deliver high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

AI is a core part of how our product team works. You'll be expected to use AI tools as a standard part of your own workflow, and to bring a perspective on where AI can create value for our customers.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Product strategy and roadmap execution — translate the product vision into actionable strategies, prioritise solutions with stakeholders, and manage delivery against strategic objectives.
  • User research and requirements gathering — run market research, competitive analysis and user interviews, using AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis and early-stage prototyping.
  • Feature prioritisation and agile delivery — assess solutions on business value, user impact, usability and feasibility, and participate in agile ceremonies to keep development moving smoothly.
  • Product launch and go-to-market — work with marketing, sales and customer experience to shape go-to-market strategy, messaging, sales collateral and training materials.
  • Performance monitoring and optimisation — define KPIs, analyse engagement data and customer feedback, and iterate through A/B testing and data-driven insight.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies and plans.
  • Good written and verbal communication, and the interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Confident, hands-on use of AI tools (for example Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot) to support research, prototyping and analysis in day-to-day product work.
  • A passion for technology, innovation, and creating exceptional user experiences.
  • A proactive, results-oriented self-starter, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A meticulous approach to documentation.
Experience
  • Proven experience working within a Product team, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience working in agile development environments, with a solid understanding of agile methodologies and practices.
  • Desirable: experience or interest in shaping product features that put AI to work for customers.
Other
  • Key to this role is an awareness of data privacy and security, as you'll be dealing with sensitive employee data in line with our security policies.
  • A customer, user and market focus, with a willingness to travel to client sites across the UK.
In Return We Offer
  • A working environment that enables our people to develop their skills and experience.
  • 25 days holiday (rising to 26), plus an extra day off on your birthday, private health insurance, group life insurance, a cycle to work scheme, pension scheme, and onsite benefits.
  • A full-time role on a hybrid model, with a requirement to be in our Witney office 50% of the week.

Webexpenses is an equal opportunities employer. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to join our team.
