About the role

Looking for an opportunity to make a powerful impact by bringing innovative products to life?
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who can help us identify where to add value within SchemeServe by working back to the root of any problem.

Through communication between all teams and stakeholders – and using excellent written and verbal communication skills – you will work with the engineering team to help solve these problems and ensure that everyone stays in the loop at all stages of the work, including identifying the issue, development, testing, updating training manuals, marketing, release, and post-release follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help define product features and requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of product objectives.
  • Work with senior management to help shape product direction in line with the company’s strategy.
  • Conduct research to identify the problems that need solving.
  • Scope out projects, identify MVPs, and create project briefs.
  • Ensure the development team has a full understanding of the “what” and “why” for any work.
  • Delegate, monitor, and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process, from initial research through to delivery and marketing.
  • Organise and participate in review meetings where the development team shares project progress with stakeholders.
  • Ensure that updates are clearly communicated to Support, Marketing, and Training teams.
  • Analyse updates to ensure they have achieved the desired result.
  • Use all of the above to drive the product development cycle forward again and again.

Requirements

  • UK-based, with the right to work here.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Product Management.
  • Proficient in the use of analytic tools to identify problems that need solving.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to haves;

  • Any experience working in a SaaS, financial or insurance company is always a plus.
