Sumo Digital Lab42 team is building multi-project games across engines and platforms, using cutting-edge tech to deliver premium solutions for clients. The role focuses on supporting and enhancing Lab42's reputation by combining flexibility with fun, while collaborating with a relaxed, welcoming team.

You will generate insights, use data to drive improvements, and pitch strategies within a cross-disciplinary team, balancing business value and player needs.

Formación

• Experience in games industry roles such as game design, product management, or live operations.
• Strong knowledge of market trends, player behaviours, and opportunities.
• Experience using data and insights to identify opportunities and measure impact.
• Experience backlog management and publishing experience desirable.
• Familiarity with prioritisation frameworks (ICE, Jobs to Be Done).

Sumo's Lab42 team is currently working on multiple exciting projects, across a number of game engines and platforms, using cutting-edge technologies to deliver premium quality solutions for our wide variety of clients. • Experience within the games industry in disciplines such as game design, product management, or live operations.
• Strong understanding of the games market, including current market trends, player behaviours, and emerging opportunities.
• The ability to use data and insights to identify opportunities, drive product improvements, and measure impact.
• A proactive, evidence-based approach to problem solving, with the confidence advocate for recommendations supported by evidence.
• Experience managing and prioritising backlogs within a development environment; publishing experience is desirable.
• Practical experience applying prioritisation frameworks (e.g., ICE, Jobs to Be Done) to support effective backlog management and decision-making.
• Experience combining qualitative and quantitative insights to develop a comprehensive understanding of player behaviours, needs, and motivations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience developing concepts and presenting proposals.
• Pragmatic and outcome-focused approach to delivery, balancing business value, user needs, and resource constraints.

• Generate insights to inform game pitches, game development, and general strategy.
• Apply AI tools to advance early-stage development - build on initial requirements to produce well-developed concepts, wireframes, and supporting research.
• Analyse game data and use it to structure your arguments and suggestions, and to prioritise a backlog of work.
• Pitch and promote your strategy within a cross-disciplinary team.
• Act as a stakeholder between external and internal team, presenting and pitching work to both customers and colleagues.
• Regularly report game performance from prototype to sunset.
• Work across multiple projects at any given time, switching between different priorities and contexts while maintaining momentum and delivery quality.
