Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers is seeking a commercially minded Agri Product Manager to join our Agricultural Buying team at Dartmoor House Head Office. You’ll lead a portfolio of agricultural categories, manage performance and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and availability.

You’ll develop category strategies, translate market insights into action, and collaborate with Marketing and Operations to drive the business plan. 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.

• Farming or agricultural background
• Proven track record in managing margins and P&L
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills
• Proficient in IT systems and Microsoft Excel
• Confident decision-maker with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships and adapts well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Developing annual business plans for designated categories, including sales strategy and margin targets
• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships and negotiating terms
• Monitoring category sales and ensuring availability and customer satisfaction
• Coordinating sales campaigns with Marketing and Operations teams
• Analysing product performance, market trends, and competitor activity to inform decisions

About The Role

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday between 08:30 - 17:30
As an Agri Product Manager, you’ll lead a portfolio of agricultural product categories, managing performance and supporting the delivery of our business plan. You’ll negotiate with suppliers, develop category strategies, and ensure competitive pricing and strong availability.
