Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking a Principal Product Manager (Data) to lead the strategy and delivery of data products for Public and Private sector clients. You will work across strategy, design and technology to unlock value from data and shape contemporary data platforms.

Lead multidisciplinary teams, drive roadmaps, govern data quality, and mentor Product Managers within the Product Practice. A consultancy background and cloud expertise preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex data products, platforms or services.
• Background in data engineering or working with Data Engineering teams.
• Experience with data warehouses and data governance.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to join a growing digital consultancy delivering transformative digital solutions for Public and Private sector clients. Working across strategy, design and technology, you will lead the strategy and delivery of innovative data products that help organisations unlock greater value from their data.

Key Responsibilities as a Principal Product Manager (Data)

• Lead strategy and delivery for complex data products, platforms and services.
• Develop product visions, roadmaps and priorities aligned to business and technical objectives.
• Translate business and technical requirements into prioritised product roadmaps and backlogs.
• Lead discovery, validation and delivery activities.
• Work with Data Engineers, Architects and Analysts to shape data products and platforms.
• Support the design of data warehouses and modern data solutions.
• Define KPIs, OKRs and success measures.
• Ensure data governance, quality standards and certification requirements are embedded throughout delivery.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and support bids, proposals and client engagements.
• Coach and mentor Product Managers while supporting capability growth across the Product Practice.

Experience you'll need as a Principal Product Manager

• Experience delivering complex data products, platforms or services.
• Background in data engineering or experience working alongside Data Engineering teams.
• Experience with data warehouses, modern data platforms, data architecture, modelling, governance and data quality.
• Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps and delivery outcomes.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, Data Engineers, Architects and Analysts.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and defining success through KPIs, OKRs or similar frameworks.
• Experience coaching Product Managers and delivery teams.
• AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience defining Data Product Management standards or operating models.
• Exposure to AI, Machine Learning or advanced analytics.
• Consultancy experience.
