Job summary

IDEX Consulting Ltd is recruiting a Product Governance & Consumer Duty Specialist to join the second-line Compliance function. The role focuses on ownership and enhancement of the Product Governance and Consumer Duty framework as the business grows.

You will work with senior stakeholders to provide independent oversight, challenging product governance, customer outcomes and regulatory requirements whilst supporting due diligence, onboarding and governance processes.

Qualifications

Experience of FCA PROD, Consumer Duty, SYSC and SM&CR is highly relevant.
Industry background is not essential; regulatory requirements and customer outcomes are key.
Ability to build and challenge governance frameworks with independence.

Responsibilities

Support the development and enhancement of the Product Governance framework.
Provide oversight against FCA PROD, Consumer Duty and SYSC requirements.
Lead product and proposition due diligence and onboarding.
Oversee risk-based product reviews (periodic and trigger-based).
Embed Consumer Duty outcomes and target market assessments into governance.
Provide compliance challenge and assurance through the Product Governance Committee.
Support compliance monitoring, documentation and escalation.
Work with senior management and accountable SMFs across the business.
