Do you possess strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills to drive data-driven solutions? If so, you might be the ideal candidate for the Data and Analytics role within Mars's Global Pet Nutrition (PN) team.

Pet Nutrition (PN) is a vibrant sector within FMCG. As part of our Digital First program, we focus on placing pet parents at the center of our initiatives, digitalizing business processes, and building capabilities to achieve growth, profitability, and customer centricity. This role requires demonstrating thought leadership, technical proficiency, and the ability to navigate complex challenges while leading a team of top-tier data and analytics professionals.

The role involves transitioning to a product-based model to develop digital capabilities. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and storage solutions to support analytics and machine learning initiatives. You will report to the Director of Data Engineering Solutions and collaborate globally with engineering teams across core products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership: Provide leadership to data and DevOps engineers. Collaborate on designing and evolving scalable data platforms. Promote best practices and foster a high-performance culture.
2. Engineering Standards: Define and maintain standards, patterns, and frameworks for data engineering. Ensure quality, consistency, and reusability.
3. DataOps Enablement: Drive adoption of DataOps principles. Establish CI/CD pipelines and observability standards to enhance operational efficiency.
4. Data Governance and Quality: Embed governance, security, and quality practices. Define guardrails for data access, lineage, and compliance.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with leadership and product owners to align data priorities and maximize value.
