Job summary

Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Product Engineer with a strong mechanical design background to own engineering changes and support existing product ranges across design, quality, production and supply chain. You will review CAD drawings, generate and check 3D models, perform tolerance analyses and drive corrective actions to improve performance, reliability and manufacturability.

The role offers £40k-£50k plus bonus and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical engineering background in product design or manufacturing.
• Experience producing and interpreting engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Experience with engineering change control and corrective actions.
• Ability to investigate problems, identify root causes and drive actions.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering changes and manage component issues across products.
• Review and approve CAD drawings and models for manufacturing.
• Perform tolerance analysis and assess impact of changes on fit and function.
• Coordinate change-of-source activities with design, quality, production and supply chain teams.
• Support investigation of returned products and components.
