Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Product Engineer to join the Product Engineering team, supporting high-performance imaging detectors used in space and scientific applications. You will own released products as they move into production, working with manufacturing, test, design and supply chain to ensure delivery to specification and high quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Manufacturing or equivalent industrial experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, test or product engineering in development, industrialisation or volume/long lifecycle production.
• Data-driven problem solving to identify root causes and improve yield/performance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional activities and drive issues to closure.
• Clear, confident communicator with collaborative and improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical performance of released products, ensuring on-time delivery and quality targets.
• Review and approve product documentation and configuration changes.
• Perform structured yield analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve robustness, efficiency and profitability.
• Coordinate investigations and disposition of non-conformances with cross-functional teams.
• Support industrialisation of new products from project to operations and ensure knowledge transfer.
