Job summary

StrideUp is seeking a high-impact engineer to drive product quality and development velocity in a fast-growing fintech. You’ll own features end-to-end, champion AI-assisted tooling, and collaborate with Product to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

You will work at StrideUp’s central London base, contributing to an ethical finance platform with a focus on performance and impact.

Qualifications

• Proven technical depth in modern JS/TS stack and JVM languages.
• Experience shipping user-facing features with ownership of why/how.
• Hands-on with AWS, Docker, Terraform and modern CI/CD.
• Deep understanding of AI-supported development and safe adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own features from ideation to deployment across the stack.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement automation/AI workflows.
• Champion AI-powered development tool adoption with risk awareness.
• Translate business requirements into technically sound deliverables with high quality.
• Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and architecture.
• Handle challenging deliveries and complex performance issues.
