Job summary

Canada Life UK is seeking an Engineer with a genuine product mindset to join our Digital Product Team. You will drive customer outcomes across the full software lifecycle, from discovery and design through implementation and testing to production support.

You will work within a cloud-focused Azure stack, building front- and back-end solutions, and collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and real users to validate ideas and measure impact using product metrics.

Qualifications

• You come from a genuine product background and have worked in product-led teams that own outcomes for real users.
• You are customer-centric and use research, usability testing and experiments to validate ideas.
• You think in terms of impact and outcomes, with comfort using product metrics and analytics.
• You collaborate with product managers and designers and engage in discovery and shaping what we build.
• You have experience with modern component-oriented front-end applications and solid C# skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the full development lifecycle from discovery to production support.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and real users to understand problems deeply.
• Configure and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and test automation for Azure-hosted solutions.
• Develop and support environments up to production to ensure reliability and quality.
• Measure impact of what you build and use data to guide next steps.
