Salary: £29,000 - 32,000 p/a
A position is available for a “Product and Device Test Engineer” required to work within the Solution Test and Compliance Team based in Dundee. This team supports all test and certification activities across engineering development of complex ATM banking machines that are distributed worldwide. Most projects are managed cross-functionally - this role will work with teams including: Test, Quality, Engineering, Product Design, Device Design, Marketing, Supply, etc.
The Product and Device Test Engineer will be responsible for driving test designs that ensure these products and devices meet specification and support product release. As a Product and Device Test Engineer, you will ensure that test plans and specifications are developed for hardware product solutions and conduct independent tests focused on "test-to-fail" objectives. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills, understand the importance of attention to detail, and have excellent written and spoken communication skills.
