Job summary

Our client in Lancaster is seeking a Project Development Engineer to lead the delivery of innovative products across sectors. You will manage projects from concept through to final production, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while contributing hands-on design work.

This project-led role involves roughly 80% management and 20% design work, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management. A degree in engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing engineering or product development projects.
• Good understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including customer facing experience.
• Degree qualified in Engineering, Product Design, or a related discipline.
