Job summary

Mondelēz International, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Product Developer to support RDQ activities across new product development, portfolio maintenance and productivity projects, blending hands-on scientific execution with cross-functional alignment.

This temporary secondment/ full-time role focuses on specification harmonization, pilot plant trials, and data analysis to deliver consumer-focused specifications in Kitchen and Aurora programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food science, science or engineering with experience in product development or pilot plant.
• Experience working both in teams and independently under supervision.
• Strong data interpretation and technical writing skills.

Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience. We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Product Developer to support key initiatives within our Kitchen and Aurora programs. This temporary position blends hands-on scientific execution with cross-functional alignment, focusing heavily on executing specification harmonization projects across a diverse set of ingredients. How you will contribute

• Support project milestones under the Kitchen and Aurora programs with high scientific rigor.
• Coordinate pilot-scale trials, execute PLM data entry, and manage technical product specifications. Plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.).
• Support the Flavour specs harmonization or supplier validations
• Organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks.
• Write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.

• Degree in Food science, science or engineering with experience in product development or pilot plant ideally in a fast-moving consumer industry
• Working on teams and independently with the guidance of a manager

• Applying fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyze data to reach clear conclusions
• Communicating effectively verbally and in writing, including technical writing

This is a secondment/ full time contract opportunity until December 2027 with possibility of extension. The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.
