Job summary

Waracle is seeking a Product Designer for a fixed-term contract to own interaction and user experience for features, bridging strategy, design and delivery. This hybrid role offers 2 days a week in the Glasgow or Dundee office.

You will design responsive interfaces, contribute to design systems, run user tests, and document expectations for development teams, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams with inclusive design at the core.

Qualifications

• Proven UI/UX design experience for digital products.
• Strong understanding of accessibility and WCAG guidelines.
• Experience designing with design systems and CMS constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own the interaction design at feature level and map happy paths, unhappy paths, and error states.
• Bridge strategy, design and delivery to ensure high-quality, user-centric solutions.
• Design responsive interfaces and align work to the existing design system.
• Plan, conduct and evaluate user tests to validate decisions.
• Document interaction expectations for development teams and collaborators.
