Job summary

Focused Futures Consultancy LTD is seeking a hands-on Product Designer to craft scalable fintech products for business users and employees. You’ll design in Figma, own the design system and translate complex requirements into production-ready UI.

You’ll collaborate with engineering and operations, conduct user research, prototype quickly (including AI-assisted methods) and influence product direction while maintaining high usability and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years experience in product design, ideally in B2B SaaS/fintech or similar complex workflows.
• Strong Figma skills, including Auto Layout, variants, component properties and variables.
• Experience building, maintaining or evolving a design system.
• Ability to write clear product specifications and requirements without a dedicated PM.
• Strong interaction design skills for data-heavy fintech workflows.
• High standards for usability and documentation; proactive about process improvements.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end product design from concepts and user flows to production-ready interfaces.

Job description

We’re looking for a talented Product Designer to support a growing fintech business, helping shape intuitive, scalable digital, mobile, web solutions and products that solve money transfer and processing for business users and employees.

This role combines strong visual and interaction design skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach to product development. You’ll work across the product lifecycle, from early discovery and user flows through to production-ready UI, while helping build and evolve the design system and translating complex requirements into clear, actionable specifications.

Working closely with engineering, operations and other stakeholders, you’ll have the opportunity to influence product direction, improve design processes and help deliver high-quality financial technology products.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end product design: Design in Figma, from early concepts and user flows through to production-ready interfaces for multiple user groups.
• Design system ownership: Build, maintain and evolve components, design tokens and documentation to improve consistency and development efficiency.
• Product specifications: Write clear user stories, requirements, edge cases and acceptance criteria that enable engineers to build with confidence.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, support and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• User research and feedback: Engage with users and internal teams to understand needs, identify pain points and inform design decisions.
• Prototyping and experimentation: Develop prototypes quickly, using AI tools where appropriate, to validate ideas before committing engineering resources.
• Process improvement: Identify opportunities to improve product workflows, documentation and team practices, taking ownership of implementing changes.
• Product influence: Help shape product strategy, design standards and the approach to building and delivering high-quality fintech products.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Around 3-6 years of experience in product design, ideally within B2B SaaS, fintech or another complex, workflow-driven environment.
• Strong Figma skills, including Auto Layout, variants, component properties, variables and well-structured design files.
• Practical experience building, maintaining or evolving a design system.
• The ability to write clear product specifications and requirements, particularly in environments without a dedicated Product Manager.
• Strong interaction design skills and the ability to simplify complex, data-heavy workflows involving payments, permissions or reconciliation.
• High standards for product quality, usability and documentation.
• A proactive approach to improving processes and ways of working beyond individual design deliverables.
• The confidence to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a growing, cross-functional team.
• Experience in fintech, payments or another regulated industry.
• Familiarity with hospitality or workforce-focused products.
• Understanding of front-end code or design-token handoff processes.
• Experience working in a small or evolving product team.
