Job description

Product Design & Quality Engineer

Commutable from Basingstoke, Andover, Reading, Guildford, Thatcham, Newbury, Woking, Aldershot, Winchester, Eastleigh, Alton, and surrounding areas.

Salary: £40,000 - £47,500 + Progression + Training + Varied Role + 25 Days Holiday rising to 28 after 2 years + Life Insurance + Private Medical.

Are you a Product Design Engineer, Design Engineer, CAD Technician or similar with knowledge of Quality looking to join a well-established family-run company in a varied role? You will develop in multiple areas of the manufacturing process while progressing your career within a friendly team environment.

This company is a specialist manufacturer distributing to over 50 countries around the world. Their products have applications within the automotive, agricultural, defence, and more industries.

In this role, you will be involved with Product Design to meet customer requirements, including New Product Development (NPD) and adapting existing products. You will also be involved in all aspects of Quality Control within the business, developing in ISO9001.

The Role:

1. Monday - Friday
2. Designing new products and adjusting existing lines
3. Involved in all aspects of the QC process

The Person:

1. Design/Product Design Experience (Solidworks/Fusion 360 beneficial but not required)
2. Some quality knowledge (ISO9001 beneficial but not required)
3. Happy to get involved in all areas of the business
