Job summary

Harnham in partnership with a leading online marketplace in Brighton is hiring a Product/Decision Scientist to join a cross-functional squad, owning data from idea to delivery and shaping AI-powered customer experiences.

This role blends Data Science, Product and Commercial impact with hybrid work (3 days in office). Strong SQL and Python, plus practical LLM/AI experience, are essential to lead experimentation and present data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Science/Decision Science.
• Strong SQL and Python.
• Experience with practical LLM/AI applications.
• Strong experimentation and A/B testing experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and commercial thinking.
• Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Engineering to solve commercial and customer problems.
• Lead experimentation, opportunity sizing and product performance analysis.
• Build recommendation models, segmentation solutions and AI-powered product features.
• Develop lightweight data products, automation and proof-of-concepts.
• Apply ML and LLMs to improve customer experiences and internal workflows.
• Present clear, data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
