Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Product Data Engineer to manage programme BoMs, support data transfer, and govern product structures from development through to manufacturing. You will ensure data integrity, traceability, and compliance with McLaren data sharing policies across enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities include BoM validation, handling CAD metadata transfers, and collaborating with Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and enable timely programme

Qualifications

• Experience with BoM concepts and configuration data in automotive or similar engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of data structures used for product definitions and engineering changes.
• Proven ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and manage conflicting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Validate BoM across programmes and support creation, maintenance and change activity.
• Coordinate CAD data transfer and metadata validation between PLM systems and partners.
• Liaise with Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality to resolve data issues and support programme delivery.
