The CFP Energy (RMS) Product Control team collaborates across the business to monitor, control, and report on operational and commercial performance, ensuring a strong control environment to minimize operational risk.

Essential functions of the job:

Key responsibilities:

• Complete daily reporting of position, exposure, P&L (including attribution/explained)
• Perform P&L analysis and commentary (monthly, quarterly, yearly) with commercial teams
• Reconcile and substantiate trading balance sheets and gross margin accounts
• Conduct independent price verification, including trade curve methodology
• Ensure accuracy of valuation methodologies and calculations (MTM, cash settlement, inventory value)
• Manage market curve and external price data ingestion and usage
• Provide ad hoc analysis and develop tools to support decision-making
• Offer expertise and guidance on Product Control matters
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including auditors and price providers
• Collaborate across the Group for risk management and P&L reporting
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Participate in change initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement
• Assist in incident review and remediation
