Job summary

Starr is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to deliver product change related analysis within the underwriting and London Market context. You will elicit requirements from stakeholders, convert them into user stories with acceptance criteria and collaborate with development teams to support delivery.

Focus on governance, SLAs and timely delivery, supporting pricing, underwriting queries and product incident management as part of the delivery framework.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite, specifically a strong knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to carry out contemporary requirements elicitation using agile based methods.
• Experience of working in delivery with agile environments (SCRUM/Kanban).
• Experience in insurance environments or underwriting principles

Responsibilities

• Elicit product-related requirements from business stakeholders and third parties.
• Ensure requirements are fit for purpose and align with governance.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Support pricing and underwriting with product-related queries.
• Assist in product incident management and priority setting.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure timely product changes.
