Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Product BIM Specialist to lead development and governance of BIM content within the Product Data Architecture framework. You will create and maintain Revit libraries, templates, and configurations that align with product structures and BOM records.

You will collaborate with Product Engineering, regional teams, consultants, and suppliers to drive standardization, automation, and high-quality digital content for global data center projects.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of BIM, virtual design and construction, digital engineering, or related discipline with strong practical BIM content development experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit and development of BIM content.
• Experience developing and maintaining advanced Revit families, templates, shared parameters, and content libraries.
• Strong understanding of modular design, assemblies, product structures, and configurable design principles.
• Working knowledge of MEP disciplines, equipment, and engineering workflows; ability to translate requirements into BIM content.
• Familiarity with BOM management, Product Data Management, configuration management, or PLM concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, technology, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Product BIM content library (families, catalogs, shared parameters, templates).
• Build reusable modules, assemblies, and configuration structures to reduce project-specific modeling effort.
• Define standards for configurable product elements and metadata; document maturity.
• Coordinate alignment between BIM content, BOM, PLM records and downstream systems.
• Translate product taxonomy and metadata into BIM structures.
• Develop and execute BIM quality and validation workflows for Product BIM content.
• Validate 3D product models for geometric accuracy and interoperability.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks with Dynamo and scripting.
• Support interoperability between BIM authoring tools, PLM, and the product data ecosystem.
• Prepare technical guidance and enablement materials supporting adoption of Product BIM standards.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, regional BIM teams, consultants and suppliers.
