Job summary

Vantage Data Centers UK Management Company Ltd is seeking a Product BIM Specialist in London (hybrid) to lead development and governance of Product BIM standards and content. You will translate product information into implementation-ready BIM content, aligned with BOMs and PLM records, and drive adoption across design and regional teams.

The role demands deep BIM expertise, hands-on Revit content development, and ability to deliver scalable digital engineering across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in BIM, virtual design and construction, digital engineering, design automation, product configuration, or related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit and development of BIM content.
• Experience developing and maintaining advanced Revit families, templates, shared parameters, and content libraries.
• Strong understanding of modular design, assemblies, product structures, and configurable design principles.
• Familiarity with BOM management, Product Data Management, configuration management, or PLM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Product BIM content library — Revit families, type catalogs, shared parameters, templates, and reusable digital assets.
• Build and maintain reusable product modules, assemblies, families, and configuration structures.
• Develop and maintain standards for configurable product elements and document them as they mature.
• Coordinate and maintain alignment between BIM content, product structures, BOMs, PLM records, and downstream systems.
• Translate product taxonomy, metadata, and information standards into BIM and configuration structures.
• Develop and execute BIM quality and validation workflows for Product BIM content.
• Validate and coordinate 3D product models for geometric accuracy and constructability.
• Identify and build automation for repetitive content, validation, and data-exchange tasks.
• Support interoperability between BIM, PLM, ERP and the broader product data ecosystem.
• Support evaluation of emerging BIM technologies and participate in pilots.
• Prepare technical guidance and enablement materials supporting adoption of Product BIM and configuration standards.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, regional BIM teams, consultants, suppliers, and technology teams to improve standardization.
