Job summary

Active Silicon in the United Kingdom is seeking a Product Assurance Engineer to act as the technical authority for Product Assurance across the business. Reporting to the Quality & Compliance Manager, you will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Project teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability and regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

Experience in Product Assurance or Quality Assurance within a regulated engineering environment.
Internal auditing experience within an ISO 9001 organisation.
Strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle and product development processes.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead Product Assurance activities throughout the engineering lifecycle.
Chair, review and approve Gate Reviews.
Conduct internal audits across Product Lifecycle, Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems.
Review project documentation and product compliance.
Investigate defects, identify root causes and recommend improvements.
Work collaboratively across Engineering, Manufacturing and Project teams to improve product quality, reliability and compliance.
