Job summary

Polytec Personnel Ltd in Ely (CB6) is recruiting a Product Assembler on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This hands-on role supports the manufacturing operation by assembling specialist accessories and following work orders.

Responsibilities

• Assembling accessories, from picking components through to final packing and preparation for dispatch.
• Pick and prepare components accurately, keeping stock records up to date.
• Follow work orders and assembly instructions correctly.
• Work as part of the team to meet production targets.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and on time.
• Support Team Leaders with training, cross-training and workplace improvement activities.
• Help identify and solve problems and suggest ways to improve quality and production.
