Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Lead Consultant to lead a team of Stress engineers focused on aero engine components. You will drive structural stress and vibration analyses, coordinate with Turbines and Casings, and translate customer requirements into robust analytical deliverables.

You will guide team members in DOE/RCA and fracture mechanics, ensuring outputs meet quality, safety and manufacturability requirements while delivering on time and within budget. Derby/Bristol base.

Qualifications

  • Hands on experience in structural stress and vibration analysis of aero engine components.
  • 2D and 3D stress and vibration analysis using FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus and SC03.
  • Knowledge of LCF, HCF and Weld fatigue analysis.
  • Experience to work on DOE, RCA and field failure analysis independently and guiding team members.
  • Ability to perform Damage Tolerance Analysis and Fracture Mechanics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Stress engineers to deliver aero engine stress analyses.
  • Interface with Turbines, Combustors, Structures & Casings to ensure project targets are met.
  • Capture requirements from customers and ensure outputs meet quality, safety, cost and schedule targets.
  • Mentor team members and manage priorities across multiple tasks.
